Greensleeves Nursery

This is my happy place. Everyone that works there is so knowledgeable and kind. We can find rare natives that cannot be found elsewhere for a great price ($3 for a 4 inch pot). And as with all natives those small plants will be wild and huge in a matter of months. We have a beautiful wildlife habitat certified yard even with Austin's watering restrictions because of great natives from here! Plants from big box stores are not adapted to our area and will not live long (so you have to buy more). But buying from a local shop like this means you will get a low maintenance beautiful yard!

I sadly review Greensleeves poorly due to being unresponsive. I bought $500 in trees in Oct25, with one being a Sweetwood. I've been calling and calling, sent an Insta message, and emailed with photos of my severely struggling tree to no avail. VM not answered, email opened but not answered. I live 30mi from this place so it's not a short trip to pop over for help. All I wanted was some help to save this tree. Perhaps I can spare others from my experience with this review.

Native American brand Thunder turf native grass seed sold here, and some other native wildflower seeds. Make sure to put out some milkweed for the Monarchs! They also sell seasonal produce seedlings.

Greensleeves was referred to us by Kathryn of Pfluggerville Foliage. Since it was only a few minutes’ drive from her shop, we decided to stop by—and we were not disappointed. They had a wonderful variety of plants, including some beautiful succulents. We each picked up a little pot of String of Pearls for only $2.99—the cheapest price we’ve ever seen! That alone made us happy. But on our way out, a lovely green succulent seemed to be beckoning us to take her home… and so we did. As we exited, we met Liz, one of the managers. With cheerful enthusiasm, she shared that they are just reopening and are still bringing in more plants. We’re glad we visited. 🌿

I will echo the others’ posts regarding how absolutely lovely this nursery is, in terms of variety, quality, unique plants, and warm and welcoming staff. There is PLENTY for the native plant enthusiasts as well as houseplant fans. So many interesting selections! We drove away with so many reasonably priced plants for our fall outdoor garden and indoor garden. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell they love what they do. It’s reflected in their enthusiasm and interest in helping their clients out. Check them out. They outcompete Austin nurseries. Support a local business while adding greenery to your life.
